The inaugural King St Kids Festival is coming in 2024, where Kids Rule for a day!

Imagine King St transformed into a wonderland of play, where kids and the young at heart take over for a day. There’s multiple stages where most talented kids in Qld will perform, there’s a popup skatepark where anyone can join, create your best cardboard suit if armour for box wars, dance to Brisbane’s best kid DJ, get a hair crazy hair cut by a 9yo, and much more. Families of central Brisbane and beyond come gather on March 30, 2024, to celebrate family and community in a fun-filled event that promises to be the talk of the town.

Our goal is to create a community event that will bring people together around play, little kids and big kids alike, and put a smile on everyone's faces. We're empowering kids to take charge and showcase their talents. With plans to run annually, King St Kids Festival is set to become a family tradition that people will look forward to every year.

We’re aiming to partner with local providers along King St, and asking them to get involved. Imagine kids running the ice cream shop, cutting hair, putting on an art exhibition, serving you at the till and more. King St Kids Festival is where kids rule for a day, and grown ups are encouraged to let out their inner rascal, and we can't wait to see them having a blast!
